Tip of the Week
Don't underestimate the value of using an agent. Issues such as security, company travel policy, management information, requirement for visas etc., and even for holding flights before committing to buy. Audittravel have found in their analysis that companies do get better fares in the long run using an agent rather than booking direct. Companies tend to forget to account for the time their staff spend while making the bookings.

Why not try a serviced apartment rather than a hotel room? You feel more at home, you generaly have more room to move about in and you can bring in food to cook if you want. You even feel comfortable when bringing back take aways. The price can also be a surprise. Corporates can get special rates for multiple use. Look at our special section under other travel tips.
Make sure that you add up all the costs when comparing air fares. Take a trip with Ryanair to 'Brussels' and you end up in Charleroi which is 46 kilometres south of Brussels city centre. A bus journey from the airport costs €22 return and takes an hour. If your final destination is south of Brussels this may be the best airport but if not then it will add hours to your journey. As a comparison a bus from Brussels main airport is only €3 each way and takes less than 30 minutes.
